I would like to share something special about one of my most special friends... Katie R -

Firstly I would like to thank one of my good friends Katie R - she is such an inspiration on how to live your live and to be honest with yourself and those you love.  Katie I love you for the person you are, the mother you have become and the friend you will be to me forever.  I admire how honest you are - letting everyone read the tough times you have gone through and what you are still facing moving into the future and I just think that you have a set of balls that would rival even the strongest man.  Im honestly one of your biggest blog readers - and fans for that matter..

The fairytale.. what a beautiful day it was..

It was so nice to see something exciting and happy on the tv on Friday night.. it was all about the wedding of Will and Kate.. Here are some of my fav pics!

A new beginning

As much as I love my current job.. I need something more, I think I have always been destined to do something in the wedding industry, so today I have decided that I will be doing a photography course in my spare time.  I want to be apart of a wedding day and really capture the moments leading into one of the happiest days in a man and woman's life or a woman's and women's or mans and mans life.. the love that is written all over their faces.. as they walk down the isle and see each other for the first time that day.  I want to be able to recreate the memories for people with wedding photos.. I'm getting very excited just thinking about it...

Some ideas I have for our special day...

The countdown begins...

It is 13 months until I walk down the aisle to marry my best friend, the man of my dreams and the only one who will ever own my heart.  I suppose that every girl has that fantasy of walking down the isle in a big dress.. having everyone looking at her.. with a perfect day... I have learnt in my 28 years that every ones 'perfect' is vastly different.  I love the finer things in life, I don't know where I have gotten that from, coming from quite a modest strong family who have nurtured me into the woman I am today.  Our wedding day is going to be full of beautiful things, smiling faces and alot of love.  I have to say the part I'm looking forward to the most is stepping into the chapel.. seeing Pete for the first time and knowing that we will be spending the rest of our lives together.. There will certainly be interesting times ahead... stay tuned..
